How to bid in our auctions.

 


 

Our Postal Bid Auctions are NOT held online (like eBay for example), however as with all Postal Bid Sales you do not need to attend our auction to be able to bid. We accept absentee bids up until the the closing time of the auction viz 12.00pm Thursday 24th August 2017

If you would like to place an absentee bid, there are 4 ways to do it :

1.  By post, send to P.O. Box 213, Highbury, South Australia, 5089

2.  By fax, to (08) 8265 5446

3.  By email, using our contact us form just click here.

Or you can downlaod and print the bidding form here, fill it in, then scan and attach to an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

4.  By phone, call us on (08) 8265 5424

Please read below for instructions.

** Please ALWAYS double check your bids before submitting them! If you accidentally bid on the wrong lot you are still required to complete payment! **

Bidding by post :  Please print out a copy of our bid form. Be sure to fill in all sections, and check that you have entered your contact details correctly, as we will need to post your items to you should your bids be successful. (You will also be added to the mailing list for our next auction catalogue.) Please neatly fill in which auction lot numbers you would like to bid on, and then to the right of the lot number please write your maximum bid $ amount for that lot.

At the bottom of the bid form please select whether you will pick up your items or will need them posted out to you should your bids be successful. Also at the bottom please specify what payment method you would like to use. More info on payment methods can be found HERE. Postal Bids will be accepted up to first mail on the day of the auction.

 

When you have finished filling in your bid form please post it to :

If you are faxing us from outside Australia, you will need to check what the prefix will be for your particular country to fax internationally, and then add :

61 8 8265 5446

to the end of your prefix.

For example if you are faxing us from the USA,

Bidding by email :  Please provide all of the following details :

* Name

* Postal Address

* Phone/fax Number

* Which lots you are bidding on and your maximum $ bid amount for each lot.

* Please specify if you would like your lots posted out to you or if you will come and pick them up here in Adelaide.

* Email bids close at 12 Noon [CST] on the day of the Auction

* Please specify a payment method, & if using credit card please supply credit card number and expiry date. More info on payment methods can be found HERE.

 

If you have our email address, please feel free to email all these details through to us, we will reply to confirm that we have received your bids. If you do not have our email address already, please use the contact form on our website (CLICK HERE) and submit your details this way. We will respond by email to confirm your bids (and then you will have our email address also!). Unfortunately we can't just advertise our email address online as we will become a target for spammers.

 

Bidding by phone :  You will need to supply the following details during the phone call :

* Name

* Postal Address

* Phone/fax Number

* Email Address

* Which lots you are bidding on and your maximum $ bid amount for each lot.

* Please specify if you would like your lots posted out to you or if you will come and pick them up here in Adelaide.
